Welcome to Dawg Star

Dawg Star Cannabis is not only Seattle’s First Licensed and Permitted Grow Facility but the result of a long journey and a series of events that took place on the road to cannabis legalization in Washington state. Of the many leaders that pushed the envelope and paved the way, the team at Dawg Star is high on that list.

Taking all the necessary measures it takes to build a premium brand, their plants are hand trimmed, hand watered and the product is always stored – and sold – in glass jars. The team’s eye for detail ranges from growing to curing to packaging and beyond. Sticklers for respecting every step along the process, the team firmly believes “Curing is almost as important as growing.”

Practicing responsible growing and production practices is very important to the company. Dawg Star seeks to grow via sustainable methods and practices. Growing indoors uses a great deal of energy, so they’re expanding to greenhouses and outdoor facilities to reduce energy use. No plastic bags or major chemicals as they grow as organically as possible. In the end, the team treats the plant with respect and provides high quality, tested products.”

Dawg Star Facility

The 7500 square foot Dawg Star Cannabis facility in Seattle’s industrial zone is situated in a two story building consisting of a veg room, a bloom room and a drying room where all of their plants are hand watered, hand trimmed and the product is always stored – and sold – in glass jars.

Known for respecting every step along the process, Dawg Star produces some of the highest quality cannabis in Washington state’s recreational marijuana market. Is not infrequent to see guests touring the facility to better understand
the magic behind their process of growing, curing and packaging.

From seedlings transplanted to the veg room, then as plants transferred to the bloom room, it’s typically a seventy to ninety day cycle from start to harvest. Plants are cut and dried by hoisting and hanging until they are dried.

They are then hand trimmed and placed in large glass jars to be cured to perfection. This normally takes about twenty days. Finally, the cannabis is weighed and packaged in recognizable Dawg Star glass jars. Delineating their cannabis as Mind, Body and Mood – which is really, Indica, Sativa and Hybrid

Curing is almost as important as growing.”

From humble beginnings to a leading crafted and cured cannabis brand, Dawg Star is committed to producing, processing and providing the Pacific Northwest with high-quality, sustainably produced products.

Available in legal cannabis retail shops throughout the state of Washington. Practicing responsible growing and production practices is very important to the company, Manzoni says. “Dawg Star seeks to grow via sustainable methods and practices.

We don’t use plastic bags. We don’t use major chemicals and we grow as organically as we can. In the end, we treat the plant with respect and provide high quality, tested products.”

Gold Leaf Gardens

The Gold Leaf way is one of true harmony with nature. Their use of handcrafted soil with healthy living organics – microbial life, beneficial bacteria and symbiotic insects – gives their plants the best environment to express their flavor and cannabinoid profiles.

With minimal inputs past the initial ‘nut rient-loading’ stage, the Gold Leaf team simply controls lighting, temperature, humidity and CO2 levels while the plants are nursed through their growth cycles. Each plant is carefully trimmed to maximize yield and grow space. This commitment to respecting the plant throughout its lifecycle is evident in their finished product.

Grow with Aloha

Blades with the least blemishes are cut off and set to cure.

High quality organic flowers are formed into a core and carefully coated with solvent free rosin. This combination helps express the flavors and psychedelic characteristics of the flower. Leaves are meticulously wrapped around the core and then set to cure for a minimum of one month. The only ingredient is cannabis, from start to finish, making it one of the purest cannabis experiences one can have.

at Phat Panda. Each strain is carefully selected based on criteria such as
appearance, potency, cannabinoid and terpene content, flowering time and perhaps most importantly, potential consumer demand. Phat Panda has 26 flowering rooms where cannabis is grown in a coco coir mix, fortified with organic nutrients.

Each room is tended by an eight-member team and produces five to six harvests per year. A dedicated environmental services team keeps the facility clean and it has a trained team of scouters whose sole job is to watch for potential problems with each crop.

In addition to their flower line, Phat Panda has introduced Hot Sugar™, a new line of cannabis-infused edibles including flavored sugars, hard candies, soft caramels as well as a line of chocolates. Another brand rounding out their offering is Sticky Frog, a high-quality line of wax, shatter and concentrates.
